Key Initiatives and Events
Anti-Dowry Awareness and Pledge
A session was conducted to educate students on the harmful effects of the dowry system and its legal consequences. This was followed by a pledge-taking ceremony, reinforcing the commitment to stand against dowry practices.
Awareness Sessions on Women’s Health and Adolescence
Experts from public health center conducted informative sessions on menstrual health, hygiene, nutrition, and mental well-being to address concerns related to adolescence and overall wellness.
As part of the Suchithwa Mission, a sanitary pad vending machine and an incinerator were installed on the campus to promote menstrual hygiene and eco-friendly disposal methods, ensuring a cleaner and more accessible environment for students.
Orientation Session on Gender Equality
was held to raise awareness about equal opportunities, breaking gender stereotypes, and workplace equality. Interactive discussions encouraged students to contribute to a more inclusive society.
