The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit 86 at the College of Applied Science, Kuzhalmannam, was established in 2023 with the objective of promoting social responsibility and community engagement among students. Since its inception, the unit has actively conducted various programs aimed at community development, digital literacy, and social awareness.
Currently, the unit has 60 enrolled volunteers from the second year, out of which 42 volunteers have successfully completed the required activities and the annual camp, making them eligible for the NSS grace mark.
