Welcome to the College of Applied Science, Kuzhalmannam

The College of Applied Science, Kuzhalmannam, Kottayi managed by Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) Government of Kerala , is situated in Kottayi village near to Kottayi Panchayat Office in Palakkad district. Established in July 2008 , the college now offers Calicut University affiliated 4 year UG programs in B.Sc Computer Science Honours , B.Com Computer Application Honours and B.Com Finance Honours in self financing mode under CUFYUGP regulations 2024 , in the academic year 2026-27.

The allotment for 50% of the seats will be done by the University of Calicut through online CAP registration process web site http://admission.uoc.ac.in/ , and the remaining 50% seats (IHRD Quota) will be filled by the college, as per the rank list prepared by IHRD based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying examination through online website http://admissions.ihrd.ac.in/ . The Calicut University admission registration process commenced on 02/06/2026 and will be upto 12/06/2026 5 PM.

Mega Cleaning Drive

Mega Cleaning Drive Organized by NSS UNIT 86
Volunteers from CAS Kuzhalmannam NSS Unit 86 actively participated in the district-level Mega Cleaning Drive organized by the IHRD NSS Cell in connection with Swachhata Hi Seva, Gandhi Jayanti, and Kartavya Week. The surroundings of the Olavakkode Railway Station were cleaned as part of the drive, which brought together NSS (IHRD) units across Palakkad district. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Krishnadas, Vice Chairman of Palakkad Municipality. The inaugural session was presided over by Mrs. Nimisha, NSS Programme Officer, CAS Kuzhalmannam, and Palakkad District Coordinator, IHRD NSS Cell. Mr. Sajeesh, NSS Programme Officer, MRPC Kuzhalmannam, delivered the welcome address. Mr. Chandan Kumar (DEHM, Palakkad Railway), Mrs. Shubha Kumar (AOM), Mr. Vijayan (Station Manager), Mrs. Rathi (Head of the Health Department), Mrs. Soumya (Health Inspector), and NSS Programme Officers Mrs. Gaurikutty and Mrs. Aswathi from CAS Vadakkanchery offered felicitations. Mr. Rajeev, NSS Programme Officer, CAS Ayalur, proposed the vote of thanks. Following the inaugural session, the NSS volunteers took the Swachhata Pledge and began the cleaning activities.
