Procession against Drugs(Snehathon):In an effort to promote a drug-free society, IHRD College of Applied Science organized an anti-drug awareness marathon titled "Run Away from Drugs" in association with Model Residential Poly Technic Kuzhalmannam.This initiative aimed to spread awareness among students and the community about the dangers of drug addiction and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The event was based on the motto: "ലഹരിയില്ലാ ജീവിതമാണ് ഹരം" (A life without drugs is bliss).

The marathon started at 7:30 AM from the Kuzhalmannam Highway Junction and inaugurated by Sri. T K Devadas , Kuzhalmannam Block Panchayath President .The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and local community members.

Along with the marathon, awareness sessions and slogan campaigns were conducted to educate participants about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

Formation of Asaad Sena: The NSS Unit 86 of IHRD College of Applied Science, Kuzhalmannam successfully conducted the Unit Level Inauguration of ASAAD SENA, a special initiative aimed at fighting drug abuse and promoting social awareness. The slogan for the initiative, "Warriors Against Drugs, Champions of Change," emphasizes the commitment of students towards building a drug-free society.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests and dignitaries:Chief Guest & Inauguration: Sri. Satheesh A, President, Kottayi Grama Panchayath, officially inaugurated the ASAAD SENA unit, emphasizing the importance of student participation in anti-drug campaigns.

Anti-Drug Awareness Class: Sri. Haridas, Preventive Officer, Excise Department, conducted an awareness session on the dangers of drug abuse and the role of youth in combating addiction.
