The College of Applied Science, Kuzhalmannam, Kottayi managed by Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) Government of Kerala , is situated in Kottayi village near to Kottayi Panchayat Office in Palakkad district. This is a Govt. Cost sharing institution and is affiliated to the University of Calicut. Established in July 2008 , the college offers 4 year UG programs in B.Sc Electronics Honours, B.Sc Computer Science Honours and B.Com Honours ( Computer Application ) in self financing mode under CUFYUGP scheme from 2024-25 academic year.

Admission Registration process for 3 Four Year UG degree programmes offered by the institution B.Sc Computer Science Honours , B.Sc Electronics Honours , B.Com (Computer Application) Honours started from 18th May and the last date for submitting the applications online at university portal is 07 June 2024. The allotment for 50% of the seats will be done by the University of Calicut, and the remaining 50% seats (IHRD Quota) will be filled by the college, as per the rank list prepared by IHRD based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying examination.All applicants must first complete online registration at the admissions portal of the University of Calicut https://ugcap.uoc.ac.in/ and get a valid CAPID.
